Why SuperSlowBurn?

SuperSlow exercise was created for a major osteoporosis study that was conducted in the early 80″s at the University of Florida College of Medicine in conjunction with Arthur Jones of Nautilus Sports Medical Industries and MedX Medical Exercise. The bottom line was to strength train a fragile elderly female population…make them strong…and increase their bone density without hurting them…”first do no harm”! It was reasoned that the very slow movements reduced force to lowest possible levels while still providing the intensity and inroading to coax the muscles and bones to grow stronger…no drugs were used!!! The results were spectacular….bone density and muscle strength increased wonderfully and clinical osteoporosis was reduced and reversed in almost all cases. This protocol proved so successful for all populations that NFL teams began to train their players in this fashion. More to come on this soon…but in the meantime…any questions…Joel Waldman jmwald@gmail.com
